Public schools

Public Schools. Never a dull moment. today as I was going for recess to do yard duty, I was pulled aside by the office. Turns out we had a bomb threat. So after helping escort the entire school outside to a safe distance away; we had to sit for an hour an a half in the sun. It was okay, I'm very tan now.

The we were told they found something in a backpack. So they brought out an x-ray to see what was inside. They couldn't. Since they didn't know what was inside and didn't know what it was they had to dentonate it. The teachers all thought it was the bomb, it sounded like one. Later we found out it was one of girls backpacks. She had a calculator in it that had diamonds. It through the scan all haywire. So they blew it up.

It was one exciting day to say the least. But hey, this is California.

I'm so glad it wasn't raining. Just a sunny 82 degrees.

One other thing, I'm so glad I work where my children go to school. Could you imagine hearing at work about a bomb threat at your child's school. Pretty scary.
